THE LEONARD LAITY STOATE CHARITABLE TRUST |
DECEMBER 2007 |
|
NEWSLETTER No.3 |
||
|
Welcome to the third Newsletter for the
trust, reporting on the year ended 5th April 2007. To avoid too much bulk, I have again tried
to keep this "contents" page fairly short, and to provide links to
the separate sections covered. Please use your browser buttons (forward and
back) to navigate. Our report on the activities for the year
ended 5th April 2007: · Grants · Accounts In addition this time, as the html pages do
not seem to print very well, I have included Printer Friendly Versions where
you see PFV
at the top of the page.
Can we give £100 on your behalf
to your local or favourite charity? We would again like to offer family members
the opportunity to nominate a local or favourite charity for a grant of £100.
Only 10 of the 40-odd eligible family members took up the suggestion last
year, and we would like to improve on this figure. We cannot guarantee to be able to honour every request because
we are bound by charity law in general and the terms of the trust in
particular, but if you can follow our guidelines,
which also tell you how to apply, we
should be able to help. We are particularly keen to get younger family
members interested. Last year’s nominations,
which include a couple of multiples from respective families, are marked “FA”
on the March 07 grant list.
Repeated from the first Newsletter, I am
including here links to pages about the: Please also see the trust's website at www.stoate-charity.org.uk I hope again that you find this newsletter
useful and informative - suggestions on format and content of future editions
will be gratefully received! Best wishes Philip Stoate |
